Richard Rourke, formerly known as Richard Rourke & the Voodoo Collective, and his band formed in 2017 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Gaining traction quickly, they played their electric live set of original music all over the city from backyard parties to sold out venues like Tipitina's, a New Orleans staple. Since then, they have been refining their sound and reinventing their look to become a tighter group with a clear direction. Their last EP "Time to Mind" was released in 2020 and put their new sound on display, showing a promising maturity that left fans excited to hear what would come next. Now, after two and a half years, a pandemic, and a few personnel changes in the band; Richard Rourke is set to release a steady torrent of fresh new singles throughout 2023.
